Learning about How to Register, Preserve, Manage and Use UNESCO Memory of the World

The National Archives of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (Director Lee So-yeon) will hold a workshop to reinforce preservation capacity of UNESCO Memory of the World on the theme of 'Registering, Preserving, Managing and Using of UNESCO Memory of the World' from November 19-21. This workshop is the first demonstration program related to ICDH's documentary heritage, which began operation in July with the agreement between UNESCO and the government of Republic of Korea.

As a workshop to strengthen the preservation and management capabilities of the institutions possessing the world documentary heritage, more than 50 officials from 12 countries of Asia Pacific will participate.
