Cheongju-si Successfully Attracts World's First International Organization for UNESCO Documented Heritage
  -39th UNESCO General Assembly approved the establishment of the International Centre for Documentary Heritage in Cheongju-si-

At the 39th UNESCO General Assembly held at the UNESCO Headquarter in the morning of November 7, 2017, Paris, France, the world's first UNESCO International Centre for Documentary Heritage (ICDH) will be established in Cheongju-si.

It is a great pleasure to attract international organizations to Cheongju-si one year after seeking support from UNESCO Frank La Rue, the secretary general of the UNESCO, who visited Cheongju-si for the first Jikji Korea International Festival held in 2016.
