ICDH attends the Inception Workshop for "the Project for Archives Preservation and Digitization of the Amadou Hampate Ba Foundation."
The UNESCO International Centre for Documentary Heritage(hereafter ICDH) attended the Inception Workshop for "the Project for Archives Preservation and Digitization of the Amadou Hampate Ba Foundation" on November 3 in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. The project was embarked on in June 2022.
The Inception Workshop was hosted by the UNESCO Abidjan Office and Amadou Hampate Ba Foundation to report the Project's progress. ICDH and UNESCO attended the workshop.
ICDH will continuously monitor the project and provide technical consultations to the beneficiary organization, starting with this site visit. It is expected to raise awareness and enhance accessibility to documentary heritage in Africa.
