Korea-UNESCO Signs Agreement to Establish International Centre for Documentary Heritage (ICDH)
-Established the world's first international organization in the field of UNESCO documentary heritage-
On July 12 in Paris, France, the National Archives of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (Director Lee So-Yeon) met with the government of Republic of Korea(Lee Byung-Hyun, an ambassador to UNESCO from South Korea) and UNESCO(Audrey Azoulay, the Director-General of UNESCO) and has agreed to establish the International Centre for Documentary Heritage (ICDH) in Korea(Cheongju-si).

The UNESCO International Centre for Documentary Heritage is an organization established to support the effective implementation of UNESCO Memory of the World projects and to enhance international capacities for safe preservation and universal access to human heritage.
